Aureo La Union is a luxury resort in San Fernando, La Union. Just a few meters away from San Fernando Airport. Aureo La Union resort has 58 villa rooms and more than a 100 hotel rooms.

The resort started its operations last 2016. I remember we visited Aureo La Union during its early stage of operations, they only have the villa rooms, 2 pools and Coast Restaurant.

Aureo La Union is more developed now than our first visit. They expanded and made a loop pool, Sea + Salt restaurant and a Hotel. Aureo La Union also has 6 luxury pool villas with its own private pool and situated near the beach.

In this experience, we stayed in their hotel. The deluxe room is 42 sqm with a king sized bed or two double beds.

Comes with all the essential amenities.

The veranda of the hotel rooms has a view of the loop pool or the lazy river.

Plus, if you are on the upper floor, the veranda has a sea view.

Sea + Salt is the newest restaurant of Aureo La Union. Since this experience was a company outing, we haven’t really explored their best dishes.

In front of Sea + Salt restaurant is the tropical themed loop pool.

The beach in Barangay San Francisco in San Fernando, La union has a long stretch of fine golden to cream sand. Since this beach is facing West Philippine Sea, it is perfect for sunsets. Also note that during surf season, expect strong currents and waves.

Recommendations: Avail their deluxe room swim-up, the pool villa or lagoon villa.

Tip: The villa rooms and hotel can get too crowded especially during peak season. If you have a budget to spare, you should try their Luxury pool villas for a more relaxing experience.
