When in Tagaytay, one of our beloved dining destination is Breakfast at Antonio’s. Renowned for its all-day breakfast offerings in a relaxed and inviting family dining setting.
Arriving just past 7 am on a Sunday, we were greeted by a bustling queue at Breakfast at Antonio's. This served as a sign that Breakfast at Antonio’s is popular among both locals and tourists.
Breakfast at Antonio’s menu consists of breakfast favorites, pasta, pizza and sandwiches. Even if the menu was limited to breakfast only when you visit early morning, they have a wide array of breakfast options to choose from. From freshly baked breads to pancakes and waffles, salads, eggs, breakfast favorites and all-day sandwiches, their menu catered to a wide range of preferences.
For the Breakfast Favorites section, each dish we ordered came with two eggs, prepared to perfection according to our personal preference.
I couldn’t resist trying the Housemade Longganisa. The dish comes with four pieces of longganisa, served with rice and housemade breakfast beans. The housemade longganisa was placed on a tableside asador complete with fire. The unique presentation elevates the whole dining experience.
The Corned Beef Hash dish features a seared corned beef paired with a golden crispy hash brown. Complemented by a side of housemade sourdough bread.
For rice lovers seeking a hearty breakfast, the Fresh Corned Beef is an ideal choice.
The Housemade Chorizo and Mushrooms comes with some greens, hashbrown and a toast.
Breakfast at Antonio’s also serves an all-day sandwiches. The Housemade Pastrami Sandwich has generous layers of pastrami topped with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and onions. Served with chips and fruits.
One of the specialties at Breakfast at Antonio’s is Smoked Salmon Benedict.
In addition to their delectable food offerings, Breakfast at Antonio's provides a diverse selection of beverages to complement your dining experience. In this experience, I tried their Vietnamese Coconut Coffee, and I must say, it did not disappoint. I highly recommend giving their Vietnamese Coconut Coffee a try.
Since we recently visited Breakfast at Antonio’s, one of our go-to restaurant near Tagaytay, I think this is a perfect time to update this food blog and showcase more of their offerings.
We started with 2 orders of omelette dishes: first is the Four Cheese Omelette,
and the other one was Ham and Cheese.
We also tried the Grilled Cheese Chorizo, which includes eggs and veggies and melted cheese.
Moving to the Breakfast Favorites, we tried to sample several dishes. First ordered the Beef Tapa with Kimchi Rice, double egg and baked beans.
Then, wanted to order the Fresh Corned Beef since this is one of the specialty of Breakfast at Antonio’s but due to a misunderstanding, the order served was Fresh Corned Beef with Provencale Sauce. While it comes with the standard 2 eggs, it is only served with fries. Still prefer the original Fresh Corned Beef.
The Housemade Spam is also a good option. Served with rice, eggs and baked beans.
Still under the Breakfast Favorites, The Daing Na Bangus comes with a half part of a milk fish, rice and eggs.
We still haven’t covered the dessert options of Breakfast at Antonio’s but if you have a chance, I recommend trying their Housemade Ice Cream. My favorite is the Dark Chocolate with Peanut Butter Cups.
Although Breakfast at Antonio's may fall on the higher end in terms of price, the exceptional quality of the food, the homey ambiance, and the top-notch service make it a worthwhile experience. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist exploring Tagaytay, a visit to this renowned All-Day Breakfast restaurant is a must.
Recommendations: Smoked Salmon Benedict, any of the corned beef option and the Housemade Longganisa.
