We recently had the chance to revisit Buffett 101 International Cuisine, which was a perfect opportunity for us as we were also compiling a list of must-try buffet restaurants in Manila.

Despite being an affordable all-you-can-eat restaurant, Buffet 101 displays a classy interior that gives off a high-end vibe.

Buffet 101 has several branches located in various malls across the metro. Based on what I’ve read, the Glorietta branch of Buffet 101 has the longest buffet table in the Philippines, although it is divided into several sections.

As always, we start our buffet experience in the Japanese section. Buffet 101 serves tempura, tonkatsu, sashimi, and numerous types of sushi.

I appreciate the freshness of Buffet 101's Tuna Sashimi and some of their maki rolls. However, it's worth mentioning that the size of their shrimp tempura tends to be on the smaller side.

Buffet 101 offers a decent selection of dim sum options. The siomai and chicken feet stood out as delicious choices.

At the carving station of Buffet 101, expect several of meat options. However, it's worth noting that some of my companions didn’t like their roast beef served. Since I wanted to explore other dishes, I decided to skip the carving station and save room for the other tempting offerings available.

The Kuhol or Snails, caught my attention since this dish is not typically served in a buffet restaurant.

At Buffet 101, you also can request to grill several seafood. The squid was grilled to perfection: it was tender and juicy. We also enjoyed indulging in several baked tahong (mussels) to pair with a draft beer.

In addition, you can also make your own nachos in Buffet 101.

Buffet 101 has diverse offerings, including healthy options, a variety of pasta dishes, an array of viands, and a not-to-be-missed dessert section.

In conclusion, Buffet 101 provides a satisfying buffet experience that doesn't break the bank. With its diverse range of options and reasonable pricing, it is a great choice for indulging in a variety of delicious dishes.

Tip: Similar to other buffet restaurants in Manila, rates of Buffet 101 is lower on regular days compared to Weekends and Holidays. Then, lunch is cheaper than dinner.
