The Café Mediterranean is a local restaurant that began operations in 1994. They specialize in traditional Mediterranean Cuisine. They have a several branches within Metro Manila, and the one we tried was their branch in Nuvali.

The Café Mediterranean is situated near the activity center, just beside Nono's.

The branch has the warm Mediterranean atmosphere, a spacious floor area and floor-to-ceiling windows. It also features an al fresco dining option.

The Café Mediterranean serves curated dishes from Mediterranean region. Popular items includes kebabs and gyros but they also offer Mediterranean pizzas too.

We started with Sample plate of three, which included hummus, labneh (Lebanese yoghurt), and kofta (meatballs).

We also tried a classic Greek dish, Moussaka, served with two pita breads and veggies on the side.

For the mains, we tried the Grilled Chicken Kebab and opted for rice instead of pita breads.

We also ordered the Beef Gyro Plate.

Mediterranean pizza was new to us, so we tried two flavors: Chicken Gyro Pizza

and Beef Gyro Pizza.

It’s a little different from a typical pizza, with a thin crust and cheese base, but it’s good though.

The Cafe Mediterranean, serves fresh and healthy Mediterranean dishes. The flavors and quality of food, plus the generous servings, make up it worth the price.

If you are looking for a restaurant to try in Nuvali, I think The Cafe Mediterranean is a great choice if you want to switch things up and explore Mediterranean flavors.
