Saffron Restaurant is an all-day dining and the main restaurant of Amorita Resort.
The al fresco setup of Saffron Restaurant compliments the natural beauty of the place. A garden on one side and a long stretch of infinity pool with sea view on the other side. I think the setup is brilliant.
Their menu is a combination of Filipino and International cuisines. There’s a variety of dishes from local specialties to pastas, pizzas, kebab and more.
While we wait for the availability of our room, we decided to try some dishes at Saffron Restaurant. We weren’t that hungry, so we ordered some light snacks for sharing.
Crispy Calamari for our appetizers.
We’ve tried the Saffron Club or their version of a clubhouse. Stuffed with chicken, bacon, egg and cheese plus a generous serving of fries. Their sandwich was as big as the plate.
and a fresh Watermelon Shake.
The food was delicious, generous serving size and the service was great. Based on what we’ve tried, I recommend this restaurant. Do note that the price is on the expensive side. It costs us around PHP1,500.00 for the orders above.
Good thing Saffron Restaurant is also the restaurant for the complimentary breakfast buffet. I had a chance to try more of their food.
The buffet area is divided into several sections. The middle part is their “silog” options.
Cheese, cold cuts and fruits section on the right.
At the far end of the buffet room is the egg station. There’s a mound of Amorita Bacon displayed in this area as well.
Freshly baked breads are available on the left side. First time seeing a donut wall in a breakfast buffet.
I’ve tried most of the dishes available and my champion dish is the Chorizo de Bohol.
On our second buffet breakfast, there’s a slight difference in the food options. Chorizo de Bohol was not available that day. Even if the spread has little variations from the previous day. I really enjoyed all the food especially making a mini churcuterie board. Perfect match to their freshly baked croissant.
Saffron Restaurant’s buffet also includes, juices, tsokolate batirol and coffee.
