After a delightful yakitori experience at Torikizoku, we decided to try more of Kyoto’s specialties. We walked around the Kyoto Tower area and decided to have a cup of matcha.
We saw Tsujiri on the ground floor of Kyoto Tower Sando, a café that specializes in Japanese Tea Tsujiri which originates in Uji, Kyoto. From the outside, Tsujiri cafe has a modern and classy exterior.
Inside, the café is spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere.
Tsujiri specializes in matcha tea and serves soft-serve ice cream, lattes and smoothies. They also sell tea products and Japanese sweets.
Since we are in Kyoto, decided to try more of matcha and ordered the Uji matcha green tea of Tsujuri.
This concluded our second day in Kyoto,
Recommendation: I think their soft served matcha ice cream is the best-seller.
Tips: Check out their website for seasonal treats.
